little links with the population of Vert-le-Grand.
Statement Municipal Bureau of Vert-le-Grand
met September 29, 2007
on the draft accession of 5 new common
the Community of communes of Val d'Essonne
The town Vert-le-Grand, also believes that expanding the community of Commons by the accession of five municipalities in the south would cause unacceptable geographical imbalance for her.
It reiterates that the purpose of the community of Commons is not to be a simple tool for economic development - which it already contributes substantially - but it also has a human purpose, that of being a community of men and women united by common bonds and notes that municipalities have no candidates, or whatever, links with the population of Vert-le-Grand.
She also notes that the application of these municipalities do not demonstrate obvious way to a genuine willingness to adhere to the objectives of the Community Commons.
The town Vert-le-Grand reaffirms its refusal of being confined to the sole role of breadwinner at the expense of its environment, its landscape and its setting life.
For these reasons, it expresses serious doubts as to the interest of local community to welcome these new communities and is firmly opposed to the draft decision on this be submitted Community Council of 16 October 2007 and next to the date of municipal elections.
